Since 2003, Cygnus Capital Partners has been active in the private equity secondary markets, covering both the sale of portfolios of private equity and real estate funds and portfolios of companies. Additionally, we have raised capital for secondary fund managers. 

Throughout the past 9 years, as the secondary market has developed into a mainstream asset class, we have developed considerable secondary expertise and access to a broad range of potential secondary buyers including: sovereign funds, private equity secondary funds, funds of funds, pension funds, insurance companies and family offices.

In the ever-more-efficient private equity secondary market, we work with some of the World's most sophisticated buyers of portfolios of funds and portfolios of companies. We have adopted a highly discrete process to place assets confidentially, away from the public auction markets that are now dominated by specialist brokers and on-line dealers.
